Adams, Anthony J. Adams (00). Picture framer, Sigman's Gallery. Freelance
writer (Nuvo, Atomic Magazine, Retroradar.com).
Allen, Theresa (93). Public Relations and Marketing Manager, Currier Museum
of Art. MA in English from University of New Hampshire (1997). Has taught literature,
writing and journalism to undergraduate students at Rivier College and the University
of New Hampshire.
Banner, Keith. His novel, The Life I Lead was published by Knopf in 1999. His
stories have been published in Lodestar Quarterly, Kenyon Review, Washington
Square, Other Voices, Third Coast, and Witness, among others. His stories have
been anthologized in O. Henry Prize Stories 2000, Full Frontal Fiction: the
Best of
Nerve, and Best American Gay Fiction. His most recent book, a collection of
stories, is titled The Smallest People Alive. He lives and works in Cincinnati,
Ohio.

on Ph.D. in cultural and media studies at Northwestern University.
Ellison, Katherine. Starts as asst. professor, Illinois State, fall 2005. Visiting
Asst. Prof., Emory University, 2004-05. Ph.D., 18th Century Literature, Emory
University. Was Assistant Director of Emory U. Writing Center and web designer
for Emory U. Library. . I am still a tenure-track assistant professor of 18th-Century
Literature and Culture at Illinois State University, I published my first book,
_Fatal News: Reading and Information Overload in Early Eighteenth-Century Literature_
in 2006 with Routledge. I am now working on my next project, tentatively entitled
_The Whispering Office: Cryptography and Narrative in Literary England, 1640-1700_.
In 2006 I received the English Education Teaching Strategy Award and the Sigma
Tau Delta Teacher Appreciation Award. In that year I also received a New Faculty
Initiative Grant for an article forthcoming on script and print in early cryptography
manuals. Next March I'll be chairing a panel on "Textual Overload and Reading"
at the American Society of Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS). And last but
not least, my husband and I welcomed our second son, Drew, to the world on February
25, 2007. His older brother, Noah, was born on June 14, 2005.
Thanks so much for making such a wonderful effort to stay in touch with your
alumni. I still speak very highly of IUPUI and boast about your amazing English
department faculty whenever I have the chance!
